The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting regarding project plans on U.S. 192 from Bamboo Lane (just east of Vineland Road) to Main Street in Kissimmee on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at Osceola Heritage Park's Events Center.
The purpose of this project is to construct safety improvements for pedestrians and drivers and to repave the corridor to extend the life of Kissimmee's vital east-west thoroughfare.
Those attending will get to see a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions. All meeting materials, including the presentation, will be available on the project website at cflroads.com/project/448783-1 prior to the meeting.
