Spread the holiday cheer this season by donating to the Toho Assistance Program (TAP). In partnership with the Osceola Council on Aging (COA), TAP provides assistance to those struggling to pay for basic necessities, like their monthly water utility bill. In an effort to help alleviate the stress for our customers, TAP was created in 2017 to ease these financial hardships for customers.
This holiday season, you can spread generosity by making a donation to the TAP fund. The donation feature for the TAP program was added earlier this year to provide customers the option of helping others with their utility payments. Customers now have the option to pay it forward and help their neighbors.
TAP provides assistance for income-eligible customers whose service has been disconnected or is in the process of being disconnected as well as households with elderly or disabled individuals or families with children under the age of eighteen.
Customers can help others by either:
• Contributing a one-time or recurring monthly donation; or
• Rounding up their bill due amount to the nearest dollar.
The selected option will take effect on the next billing cycle. Customers can opt-in and out at any time.
Donations made to the TAP program are tax-deductible.
