The Silver Spurs Arena is once again a rodeo ring! The next two weekends deliver

The next two weekends deliver the best in what professional cowboys have to offer, starting with the annual Monster Bulls event Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Silver Spurs Riding Club challenges all pro bull riders to climb on their stock — They’re fierce, feisty and bred to buck! — for a one-night showdown for the chance to score a big payout if they can stay on and stay upright for eight seconds.

Then next weekend, Feb. 18-20, the riding club hosts the 18th Silver Spurs Rodeo, when the top Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) ropers and riders descend on Kissimmee from across the country to compete in rodeo’s seven traditional events: bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, women’s barrel racing, steer wrestling, and team roping for an entire year of bragging rights and $55,000.

Fans will also be entertained, as usual, by the rodeo clowns and the traditional and talented Silver Spurs Quadrille team, who perform a square dance on horseback, something the club has performed at the Rodeo since its inception 80 years ago.

“We are excited to kick off our rodeo season with extreme bull riding at Monster Bulls and the 148th Silver Spurs Rodeo with seven traditional rodeo events we have shared with our fans for 80 years,” said Silver Spurs’ 2021-22 Big Boss Dustin Bronson. The rodeo action starts at

The rodeo action starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday the 18th, but don’t miss the annual Silver Spurs Rodeo Parade on Saturday at 11 a.m. in downtown St. Cloud, another celebration of heritage and tradition of rodeo in Osceola County. The rodeo heads back into the Spurs arena on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

More information and online ticket purchase are available at www. SilverSpursRodeo.com, including a new ticket this year: a $125 annual pass, which covers admission into the February, June, and October Silver Spurs Rodeos for adults for $125, a $45 savings for all the 2022 events.

“We’re thrilled this year to bring an excellent value to our rodeo fans by offering an annual pass, so they can come out and experience great rodeo action at an excellent value all year long for the entire family,” Bronson said.
