The Osceola County Association of REALTORS® Inc. (OSCAR) has recognized longtime member and 2021 Board Secretary Imran Mohamed as its REALTOR® of the Year, the organization’s top honor.
The Realtor® of the Year award is presented to an active member of the Association who goes above and beyond to serve the real estate profession and the community. Mohamed was nominated and chosen by fellow members of the Association.
Mohamed has actively participated in numerous committees and led the first in-person and virtual trade missions earlier this year. He now serves on the Board of Directors Executive Committee and continually supports the Association in a multitude of capacities.
“In 2021, Imran dedicated his time and expertise to the advancement of the Association. I am privileged to have witnessed his knowledge, confidence and leadership grow throughout his service to the Association,” OSCAR President Donnie Martinez said. “His continuous efforts and commitment to our Association and members are a testament as to why he is deserving of this honor.”
Mohamed also received the Global Excellence Award, to recognize a Realtor® member who holds the CIPS designation and participates, serves on, or is a member of the Global Alliance Committee.

Vital Industry Partner Rising Star– Casey Baker: Award recognizes a newly active Vital Industry Partner who has contributed outstanding service and volunteered time toward OSCAR’s success.
Vital Industry Partners of the Year – Colleen Mitchell and Charles Castellon: Award acknowledges the contributions and commitment of a Vital Industry Partner who actively participated in OSCAR programs and activities, supported the association, the mission, and the Realtor® members during this year.
Vital Industry Partner Office of the Year – Cunningham’s, Inc.: Award recognizes a Vital Industry Partner that has contributed outstanding support to the Association.
Public Policy Award – Jose Alvarez: Award recognizes a Realtor® member who works effectively on local, state and national public policy issues.
Humanitarian of the Year – Gladys Thayer: Award recognizes a Realtor® member who has given time, energy and resources to improve the welfare of those in need.
Real Estate Office of the Year – Keller Williams Realty at the Lakes: Award recognizes an office that has made contributions in leadership within the Association and the community served.
Realtor® Rising Star of the Year – Kelvis Melo: Award is given to a member, newly active with the Association over the past two years, who has demonstrated a commitment to the mission and contributed outstanding and abundant service within the Association.
OSCAR Realtor® Star of the Year – James Lowe: Award is given to Realtor® member who has demonstrated excellence in fulfilling the Association’s goals and objectives.
Lifetime Achievement Award – Cheryl Grieb: Award recognizes a Realtor® member who has performed outstanding service and accomplishments spanning a career in real estate. The OSCAR member has a minimum of 20 years of service and leadership at the Osceola County Association of Realtors®.
