A Kissimmee man was killed in an Orange County crash on Friday, after the pick-up truck he was driving hit a light pole.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old man was driving a 2008 Chevy pick-up truck southbound on Orange Blossom Trail near Counselor Row at about 10:53 p.m.
For an unknown reason, the truck struck a curb, traveled across the sidewalk and hit a bench, a patrol report stated. The truck continued along the sidewalk and struck the light pole. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at Orlando Health.
The crash remains under investigation.
