An Osceola County jury on Wednesday found Orlando pastor Eddy Noelsaint, 54, guilty on all four counts in a sexual battery case involving a church member who told deputies she was assaulted during what she believed was a spiritual ritual.
Noelsaint was initially arrested in 2023 and initially charged with two counts of sexual battery on a person over 18. Prosecutors later filed a formal charging document listing four counts, alleging he administered an intoxicating substance that left the victim mentally or physically incapacitated and used threats of violence to coerce her into submitting.
According to an arrest report, the first incident occurred in July 2022 at Noelsaint’s Riachuelo Lane home in Kissimmee. Investigators wrote that the victim believed she was participating in a “spiritual revival” rooted in her cultural and religious traditions from Haiti. She told deputies Noelsaint gave her tea and unidentified pills that made her feel ill and weakened before sexually battering her. A second incident occurred that November, again at the home when the two were alone. The victim reported the encounters to deputies on Feb. 13 and later identified Noelsaint through a state driver license photo.
When investigators questioned Noelsaint, he initially gave a different account of the events but ultimately confessed to non‑consensual sexual encounters with the church member.
The three‑day trial began Monday before Circuit Judge John Beamer. Court records show Creole interpreters were used and that Noelsaint testified during the defense case. After the defense rested and renewed a motion for judgment of acquittal — which the judge denied — jurors deliberated and returned guilty verdicts on all four counts.
State Attorney Monique Worrell said the verdict “represents justice for a survivor who showed tremendous courage in coming forward and trusting the criminal justice system,” adding that sexual predators “often exploit positions of trust and authority to target vulnerable victims.”
The judge ordered a pre‑sentence investigation and remanded Noelsaint to the Osceola County Jail until sentencing, scheduled for Sept. 11, 2026.
