'Operation Your Trick, Our Treat' nabs 37 sexual offenders in Osceola County, Sheriff's Office says

When the calendar flipped to November, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office showed how it worked to enforce compliance and monitor sexual offenders and predators in Osceola County.

Through Operation Your Trick, Our Treat, deputies contacted 72 probationers, conducted 50 searches, and examined 33 GPS monitors it resulted in 37 arrests related to violations of their statutory sexual offense restrictions, new law violations or violations of probation, a release from the Sheriff's Office noted.

The offenders, between the ages of 29 and 68, spent Halloween in the Osceola County Jail.

The Sheriff's Office said it worked with with Florida State Probation, and the St. Cloud Police Department to search those on the sexual predators watch list, review registration information and enforce sexual offender and predator registration requirements.
