Whichever you call it — the Fourth of July, Independence Day, the Night of Thousands of Big Booms (okay, we made that one up) — you have your choice of festive events to take in a holiday event and fireworks Monday that don’t involve your neighbor carrying out amateur hour pyrotechnics. Cities, communities and attractions along the U.S. Highway 192 corridor will welcome another celebration of the birthplace of the United States of America. (By the way, Happy early 246th birthday, America!)

Keep in mind, each of these are outdoor events, so they’re weather permitting.

KISSIMMEE Monumental 4th of July 6-9 p.m.

It’s the city’s biggest event of the year. Celebrate Independence Day with live musical performances by Platinum Awardwinning Sister Hazel (“All For You”, “Champagne High”, “Change Your Mind”) and Orlando-based band Soul Switch on the Veterans Lawn, the KUA Kids Zone, food vendors, and the 30-minute fireworks grand finale that finishes the night at 9 p.m.

St. Cloud 4th of July Celebration 5-9 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day at the Soldier City’s annual celebration down at the St. Cloud Lakefront sponsored by OUC The Reliable One and Toho Water Authority. There will be live music, food trucks, vendors, beer garden, kid zone, and lots of fun. Stick around for the fireworks show over East Lake Toho starting at 9 p.m.

Celebration Independence Day Parade (9-10 a.m.) and Star-Spangled Spectacular ( 4-9 p.m.).

A community tradition, the Celebration Independence Day Parade will step off from Town Hall, traveling up Celebration Avenue to Market Street, concluding on Front Street near Lakeside Park.

Then, in the evening, Celebrate the 4th of July in Celebration style with a DJ, live entertainment, and a fireworks spectacular that begins at 9 p.m. Enjoy libations (for purchase) on the Great Lawn from 5-8.

Old Town 4th of July Celebration with Fireworks 12-10 p.m.

Celebrate the Red, White and Blue at the free event at Old Town and Fun Spot Kissimmee. An entire day of fun includes streetmosphere entertainment and live music on the Main Stage featuring the Occasional Astronauts from 12-4 p.m. and Rocktown from 6-10 p.m. Fireworks begin in the South Entertainment area at 9 p.m.

Promenade at Sunset Walk Star Spangled 4-Day Celebration.

The Margaritaville party starts Friday, with DJs and entertainment, a car show and street market each day. The 4th features burger-eating contests at 4 and 7 p.m., and a fireworks spectacular at 9:30 p.m.

Disney’s Celebrate America! Fourth of July Concert in the Sky 9:20 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

The festivities return to Magic Kingdom after a twoyear COVID-19 break. The Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will feature a special 14 minute-long Independence Day show that will replace Disney Enchantment. And Epcot’s Harmonious nighttime spectacular will have a special July 4th ending on Monday.

Sea World’s “Ignite 360”

The park will hold the patriotic festivities nightly Friday through Monday around its central lake prior to its 10 p.m. closing. Universal Orlando’s

Universal Orlando’s Fourth of July Celebration, 5-9 p.m.

The festivities will include live entertainment, character meet and greets, stilt walkers and a special pyrotechnics display at 9 p.m.

Legoland Florida’s Red, White & Boom! July 2-4.

During the fireworks spectacular, visitors will receive special viewing glasses which turn the fireworks into Lego bricks.
