Saturday was a deadly day on the roads of Osceola County, according to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol.
In the early hours, just after 2 a.m., a two-car accident claimed the life of a 56-year-old Kissimmee man on Simpson Road, then a motorcyclist was killed mid-morning on Michigan Avenue.
In the early crash, one SUV rear-ended another near Hilliard Isle Road. A BMW SUV traveling northbound on rear-ended a Chevy Suburban, then crossed the southbound lanes and struck a tree. The Kissimmee man driving the BMW was pronounced dead at Partin Settlement E.R. hours later.
Then, around 10:20 a.m., a 37-year-old Kissimmee man was killed when his motorcycle headed northbound on Michigan struck a van, which was headed southbound and turning left onto Mill Run Boulevard. The can crossed into the direct path of the motorcycle, which struck the right side of the van. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both crashes are under investigation, the FHP report said.
