On Wednesday, the Kissimmee Police Department walked the walk. After recently conducting an educational campaign on pedestrian safety, officers were testing whether drivers would stop for pedestrians at three locations in the city. It started at 8 a.m.

Disney, Universal closes due to coronavirus

Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando announced that they were closing parks due to the coronavirus. They are expected to be closed until the end of the month, according to company officials. Disney said they will continue to pay cast members. Universal Citywalk will remian open.

Osceola High School’s Cooper Haase (106) and Jaekus Hines (132) dominated their weight classes to win Individual state titles at the FHSAA Class 3A State Wrestling Championships last weekend at Silver Spurs Arena.

Man cited for careless driving after fatal crash

The Florida Highway Patrol has cited a man for careless driving after troopers said he caused a crash in February on State Road 429 that killed four people in a van. Lucas Dos Reis Laurindo, 26, has been cited for careless driving in the fatal crash.

High pressure system to bring above normal temps

I bring you a fantastic forecast for Osceola County and surrounding counties for the next five days, with partly sunny skies and dry weather and high temperatures in the low to mid-80s. The nights will be mild, only dropping to the low to-mid 60s. How about those temperatures back on March 4 and 5.
