County debuts administration building renovations

The Osceola County Administration building, for the most part, closed to the public during COVID-19 quarantine conditions in 2020. County officials figured that, with few to no residents coming through, it was a great time to renovate, and streamline its space for better flow and customer service.

Reviews ongoing for mature school library materials

The School District of Osceola County continues to review books found in its schools’ media center collections for mature content.

Kissimmee Police among agencies to debut autism decal program

The City of Kissimmee Police Department announced a new program Tuesday that would notify first responders when a person with Autism is in a vehicle or home by placing a decal that says, “Occupant with Autism.” Signup for the program is voluntary.

Florida Highway Patrol reports that two teenager from Orlando were killed Sunday night when the SUV they were riding in struck a tree on Seralago Boulevard. Just before 10 p.m., the Chevrolet Equinox was traveling northbound on Seralago near Osceola Parkway, the FHP report said.
