Public meeting for Celebration Blvd. southern extension Thursday

Osceola County is assessing alternative routes for the extension of Celebration Boulevard from Celebration south to County Road 532 (Osceola-Polk Line Road). The county will share some potential plans and routes at a public meeting Thursday (May 12) at 6 p.m.

The inaugural VFW Post #3227 “Drive to Thrive” benefit golf tournament will be held at the Royal St. Cloud Golf Links on May 15, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament’s proceeds will be used toward the renovation of their Post building at 915 New York Ave. This building is steep in history.

Osceola County has announced that Nolte Road, from Old Canoe Creek Road to Pine Chase Circle, near the Nolte entrance to Steven's Plantation, in St. Cloud, will be resurfaced this week. Work is scheduled to begin Sunday and, weather permitting, run through Thursday.
