Spring Fest takes place on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ranch (5452 Jones Road). This family-friendly event features bounce houses, crafts, games, egg hunts for children (ages 2 to 12) and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the event.

Rewrites pro fishing record books at MLF event on Kissimmee Chain

For a change, the weather was ideal for a pro fishing event last weekend on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, and Peru, New York pro Alec Morrison took advantage of not having to bundle up or face stiff breezes like competitors in other recent events in town.
