Road construction will affect access to State Road 417, World Drive and Interstate 4 this week to support ongoing Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) construction activities for the Moving I-4 Forward Program. Visit MovingI4Forward.com/construction-updates for the latest information.
State Road 417 southbound will close Monday and Tuesday night at the Celebration exit (Exit 2) from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured onto Celebration Avenue; turn right, then left onto U.S. Highway 192 to be able to access Interstate 4 east or westbound. World Drive access will also be from 192.
Wednesday night at 11 p.m. through the overnight and morning hours, I-4 east ramps to 417 and World Drive will close. Eastbound drivers will still be able to get on 417 through the second collector-distributor road (just follow the detour signs) or take Celebration Boulevard to Celebration Place to the northbound onramp. (Again, follow detours). Access northbound World Drive by going toward Celebration and making a U-turn at Celebration Boulevard.
