A Patriots of the Revolutionary War event, presented by the Joshua Stevens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), takes place on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Library. Hear captivating stories of patriot Ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War. Learn about the living conditions of these Patriots, as well as highlights of the battles they participated in. As they prepare for the 250th birthday for America on July 4th, 2026, the DAR members will like to share their heritage with the community. If you belief that you are a direct descendant of a Patriot, who fought in the Revolutionary War, DAR will be available to assist you with your research and potential application process.
The Partin Ranch Corn Maze Fall Festival, 5601 N. Canoe Creek Rd., Kenansville, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 27. In addition to the corn maze, this fun filled day includes a barrel train, a kiddie zip line, ranch animals, hayrides and plenty of photo ops!
