The Downtown St. Cloud Sidewalk Sale will start at 10 a.m., featuring businesses along New York Avenue, 11th Stree and Pennsylvania Avenue. Get a jumpstart into the new season.
When a grand opening is accompanied by fanfare in downtown St. Cloud, it is an event. The Grand Opening at The Aria Salon, 1122 Massachusetts Ave., takes place Saturday from 4-7 p.m. In addition to checking out this brand-new space and meeting stylists, there are small businesses and food trucks coming in for a pop-up.
It all makes for a fun Saturday in downtown St. Cloud.
If the Library is more your style, a Kids Crafters Fair will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Visit with local kid crafters and discover handmade items available for purchase. Local author Sophia Gholz will present her newly released book, “Bear at the Fair”. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. You can get your book autographed, take a photo and enjoy the Crafters Fair.
Also at the library, a Community Blood Drive will be held Monday, Aug. 19 from 12-5 p.m. OneBlood’s Big Red Bus will be on-site. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival.
The Central Florida Business Networking Group will meet there on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 9 a.m.. Share ideas about networking, attracting and retaining customers and more. Paint Night, sponsored by St. Cloud Friends of the Library, takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. Supplies are provided and registration is required. To register, call 407892-6910.
Osceola County Animal Services is up to its eyeballs in animals! The need is great for adoption, fostering, volunteering and rescue networking. Fees can be waived for adoptions. You may also sign up for fostering on-site and take an animal home with you the same day. Many of the animals have already been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and ready to go. Save the date! The Downtown St. Cloud Fall Preview takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 5-9 p.m. along New York Avenue. This annual event allows you to sip, shop and dine downtown businesses.
