The Alligator Lake Chain Alliance (ALChA) will hold Saturday holiday boat parades this year on Dec. 4 and 18. The group will meet at the northwest corner of Alligator Lake at 5:30 p.m. and start the parade at 5:45 p.m. The route will move along the north shore of Alligator Lake, through the Lizzie Canal, continuing along the southern and western shores of Lake Lizzie, travel under the Bass Highway Bridge and make a short stop on Coon Lake, then continue to Trout Lake and finish in Center Lake. They will try and cover as much shoreline as they can within two and a half hours.
Decorate your boats, tell your family and friends and join in this holiday tradition.
