ST. CLOUD NEWS — Get 2025 started in a fun way at these events!

The Orlando and St. Cloud Dream Center presents a Three Kings Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 4 from 2-5 p.m. This family friendly event will be held at BridgePrep Academy of St. Cloud (3691 Old Canoe Creek Road). Children will receive gifts. There will be a bounce house, food, music and vendors.

 

Don’t curb it, swap it! The annual Christmas Tree Swap will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Peghorn Nature Park, 2101 Peghorn Way. Instead of throwing out your old Christmas tree to the curb, swap it out for a new tree to plant at home. The old tree must be free of decorations. For more information, call 407- 957-7243.

 

Women2Women Connection hosted by the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Osceola News-Gazette, will be presented on Thursday, Jan. 16 at noon at Cornerstone Family Church (2925 Canoe Creek Road). The event will feature speakers from One More Child, an organization dedicated to fighting human trafficking. There will be other impactful talks as well. Attendees can enjoy raffle prizes, vendor tables showcasing local businesses and Red Sand Ceremony. Red Sand Ceremony is to raise awareness of human trafficking.

The Red Sand Project first launched in 2014. 50 million individuals are trafficked or living in modern slavery. Participants in the Red Sand Ceremony fill the cracks of sidewalks with the grains of red sand representing those who fall through the cracks of our social, economic, and political systems, or those of our personal consciousness. The St. Cloud Chamber Young Professionals presents International Growth Setting on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 2-3 p.m. at the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce, 1200 New York Ave. This event will feature guest speaker Dana Wells of Levee Liquor and Gas. Learn practical strategies for setting and achieving professional and personal growth.

If this would be your first time attending a Young Professionals event, admission is free. Yearly membership is $35.
