Ever wonder about some of the colorful tales of St. Cloud’s history that you’ve heard and wondered, “Is that for real?”

Find out Saturday. Learn about “The Myths and Realities of St. Cloud” on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Cloud Heritage Museum (1012 Massachusetts Ave.). Larisa Roderick, who in 2019 helped secure 61 military headstones for veterans buried in Mt. Peace Cemetery, will explain what is fiction and what is real regarding St. Cloud’s history.

 

St. Cloud Main Street’s Annual Awards and Dinner will be held on Monday, Aug. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at Phyre Brewery and Tavern (918 New York Ave.). The night includes dinner, election of officers and award ceremony. Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members. RSVP at https://bit.ly/scmsannualmeeting23. Deadline is Monday, Aug. 14.

 

The 2023 St. Cloud Holiday Festival is now registering for vendors. The St. Cloud Holiday Festival is a non-profit event presented by the Rotary Club of Kissimmee Bay. The Festival features over 100 crafters, carnival-type fair, entertainment, a classic car show and a Kids Holiday Fun Zone with Santa. The Festival runs Dec. 2-3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (both days).

Vendor fee’s range from $125 to $250 for each 10x10 space. To register as a vendor, go to http://www. stcloudholidayfestival.com.
