Salute our Veterans Weekend comes to Solivita on Saturday.
Salute our Veterans Weekend at Solivita includes a Veteran’s Day Memorial Ceremony and breakfast is on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Starlight Ballroom following the ceremony. Presented by the Veterans Club of Solivita will be at the Veterans Memorial in Freedom Park.

Turkeypalooza waddles its way to the Poinciana Library on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 5-6 p.m. Gobble up these turkey themed crafts and games while getting ready to celebrate Turkey Day.
The Osceola Friends of the Library will hold a book sale at the Poinciana branch. This is a great opportunity to support the programs sponsored by Friends of the Library while adding to your own personal library. The cost is $4 to fill a grocery store sized bag, .25 for paperbacks and children’s books, $.50 for hardcover fiction and non-fiction books. The sale runs from Thursday, Nov. 16 from 12-5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Poinciana Library is located at 101 N. Doverplum Ave.
