Bellalago Veterinary Hospital (3809 Pleasant Hill Road) will hold a Night of Remembrance on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. This night is to remember dearly beloved pets who have left us. Luminaries will be available and tributes, donations and gifts to be left around these luminaries or placed in collection containers will be accepted. Cash donations will go to the Dr. Christa Young Memorial Angel Fund. New or gently used items will be donated to the Humane Society of Polk County following the event. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office invites all Poinciana residents to Three Kings celebration on Jan. 6 from 12-2 p.m. on the Poinciana Community Lawn at the Community Center (445 Marigold Ave.) There will lots to do and see while waiting for the arrival of the Kings. Later that day, Commissioner Brandon Arrington’s Three Kings Day Toy Giveaway will be at Valencia College’s Poinciana campus from 3-5 p.m. This festive celebration includes music, cookies, giveaways, pony rides and free toys for kids (while supplies last). Children must be present to receive a gift at this outdoor event.
