The City of St. Cloud will host a Women’s Empowerment Circle May 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopkins Park (620 E. 17th St.). This event honors Mental Health Awareness Month.

The Women’s Empowerment Circle is a safe space for participants ages 18 and up to feel comfortable and open up about their daily stresses. By opening up and discussing these issues, the Circle hopes to remove some of the stigma associated with stress. The afternoon features conversations, food, resources, learning and fun as women come together to support other women. The panel discussions are being led by Dr. Eugenia Agard, Doctor of Behavioral Health, Kimberly Padgett, Minister, Life Coach and Encourager, Cicily Randolph, Motivational Speaker and Bridgette Reid, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Join some of the merchants in Downtown St. Cloud for Summer Sip and Shop on Saturday (May 14) at 10 a.m. Hosted by Downtown St. Cloud, the Stained Glass Lady, Lavender Patch, Z and Q – A Children’s Boutique and Savvy Sweets. This is an opportunity to explore the many unique shops, antiques stores and boutiques. Support local businesses.

St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce will host a Coffee Co-Op on May 17 at 8:30 a.m. at the Nutrition Zone (100 Massachusetts Ave.). Members and nonmembers are welcomed to attend this nutritious treat and greet conversation. To register for this networking event, go to https://bit.ly/3ynYOy8.

The last St. Cloud downtown Monthly Market for the season will be on May 25 from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy an evening strolling downtown with over 150 local pop-up vendors to browse. There will also be live music, food trucks, shops and restaurants to enjoy. There will be photo-ops provided by Be Happy Yard Designs. The monthly market will resume on Sept. 29.

Another “last of the season” happening May 25 is St. Cloud Main Street’s Historic Walking Tour from 5:30-7 p.m. The cost for the tour is $10. The guided walking tour leaves from 903 Pennsylvania Ave. and will take you back to the early days of St. Cloud. Learn about a fire that ruined part of downtown and other historical details of the City of St. Cloud. The tour will be led by Past Department Commander of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Ron McCracken.
