Adult Nutrition Classes begin today, running through May 5. The City of St. Cloud is offering these classes monthly to teach about healthy eating, meal planning and the relationship between diet and health.
The Nutrition classes will be held on the first Thursday of every month in two sessions, mornings (10-11 a.m.) and evenings (6-7 p.m.). All classes will be held at Hopkins Park (620 E. 17th St.). Home School Nutrition is a six-week session that teaches about healthy food choices through Young Understanding Myplate (YUM!).
Home School Nutrition offers food recipes, activities, handouts and more. Cost for the program is $4 per child per session. Ages 10-15 will have class from 9:30-10:30 a.m., ages 5 to 9 will have class from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Online registration is available at https://bit.ly/3s0niJ3.

Who says that kids get to have all of the fun? The adult 30-and-up 5v5 basketball league is back. The cost is $400 per team. Games will be played Monday and Tuesday nights beginning Feb. 28. Rodeo Day Camp presented by St. Cloud Parks and Recreation is Feb. 18 (Rodeo Day!). Rodeo Day Camp is for children ages 5 to 12. The cost is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. Hey dads, book a date with your little girl! The City of St. Cloud will host a Father-Daughter Dance on Feb. 19 from 4-7 p.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center. The cost is $10 per person.
