Easter and Earth Day in the Cloud!

St. Cloud Chamber’s Women2Women Spring 2022 connection will be on Wednesday (April 20) at 11:30 a.m. at VFW Hall, Post 322 (915 New York Ave.) Guest speaker will be Kristina Bozanich, photographer/makeup artist with Bozanich Photography. Bozanich will share the importance of “Building Your Brand!” Lunch is $5, and you must register to attend at www.stcloudflchamber.com.

 

The City of St. Cloud’s Easter Egg Extravaganza will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Cloud Civic Center. The fee is $5 cash per child for ages 3-12 and includes the egg hunt, games, crafts, vendors, food trucks, an ice cream truck and a bounce house. To pre-register, go to https://webtrac.stcloud.org.

Inspiration Martial Arts (2090 Old Hickory Tree Road Suite 105) will also host an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over 5,000 eggs will be hidden. And, Easter in the Park will be Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at Lakefront Park. This free event will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children up to age 13, with food trucks, music, fun and games.

 

The City of St. Cloud’s Earth Day 2022 Celebration will be on April 23 at 11 a.m. at Peghorn Park (2101 Peghorn Way). Earth Day 2022 will feature environmental exhibitors, up-cycling, crafts, live music, giveaways, food trucks and local vendors. Activities will include clean-up, a nature trail, recycling batteries and more.

Earlier in the morning, celebrate Youth Fishing Day at Borrow Pit Pond Fishing Derby from 9-11 a.m. at Borrow Pit Pond (Budinger Avenue across from St. Cloud Elementary School). Anglers ages 3-12 can compete in this total weight fishing derby. Registration is $10 per child. Bait will be provided. Online registration is available at https://bit.ly/379eaer.

 

Calling backyard gardeners! Do you have some produce to show off? Osceola County Grown is offering a free event on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for home gardeners to share ideas, information and even seeds, if they wish.
