Partin Ranch Corn Maze, 5601 N. Canoe Creek Rd., Kenansville. It reopens Saturday and will run every weekend through Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tickets sold at 4 p.m.) Admission is $10 for ages 3 and older. A season pass for every weekend is $20.
Activities include corn mazes, a barrel train ride, kiddie zip-line, hay rides and there are more fun games and activities. Guests can also see some ranch animals on this working cattle ranch. The pumpkin patch carries a variety of sizes of pumpkins and there is a General Store. There will be craft vendors, opportunities to purchase pony rides and ride a combine harvester. Stop by Butterfly Dan’s tent to see these beautiful butterfly creatures.

Rising Thunder and Fall Festival, at The Ranch in St. Cloud (5452 Jones Rd.) on Friday (4-10 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m.-10 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
The Festival will include fall activities for the entire family, music, food trucks and assorted vendors. The Education Foundation Osceola County will present Rising Thunder, a Southern Rock jam fest. All proceeds will benefit the Education Foundation.
A little bit further north from St. Cloud proper, enjoy Oktoberfest meal and baked goods for sale. Sponsored by the Narcoossee area chapter of the Osceola County Historical Society, this event will take place at the Historic Narcoossee School House (5026 Yukon St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will be a special Polka performance by Moonlight Dance Studio. All proceeds from the German food and baked goods sale go to the restoration of the 1886 Historic Narcoossee School House.
The St. Cloud Community Center (3101 17th St.) will be showing a free movie matinee for ages 18 and up on Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. The October movie will be “Maleficent”. Youths ages 13 and older can make a spooky splash at the Dive-In “Boo-vie” at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center (3001 17th St.). The cost is $3 per person, gates open at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:15 p.m. For more information, call 407-957-7136.
