Be on the lookout for sharks…and minnows!
The Mary Jane Arrington Aquatic Center. 625 Country Club Drive, will be offering Sharks and Minnows Swim Classes at their pool this summer. Sharks and Minnows is for infant and toddler, beginner and advanced swimmers and adult classes taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Classes mix learning with fun!

River FC Poinciana is holding registration for its soccer league on Wednesday April 14, and Friday, April 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration will be held at Deerwood Park Soccer Fields, 4051 Laurel Ave. This program is for youth ages 4 to 14. Poinciana Christian Preparatory School will be holding a summer fun program from June 1 to Aug. 6. This program will be held at its Poinciana Campus, 4942 Old Pleasant Hill Road, or their Poinciana North Campus, 2525 Trafalgar Blvd. The camp will offer crafts, sports, field trips, activities, water day, chapel and more. Cost is $75 a week.
If your child is interested in just a sports summer fun program that will be available at the Poinciana campus, there is a camp that will offer basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, soccer, softball and martial arts. The cost for this camp is $100 per week. Lunch and snacks are included.

APV Summer Camp will be held at the Poinciana Community Center, 397 Marigold Ave., from June 1 to Aug. 6. This camp runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This camp is for children ages 5 to 12. Each week of camp offers it’s own theme-Olympics, It’s a Mystery, Battle of the Video Games, Superheroes versus Villains, Our Kids Have Talent, Harry Potter, Survivor, Master Chef Junior, Pool Days and more.
Registration fee is $50 ($10 off weekly sibling discount available). Price options are: half day weekly pass, $80 (morning or afternoon), weekly pass $119 and all summer pass $1,070.
