Musicians from around the area are invited to participate in a Bluegrass Jam Session on Saturday. Unlike mainstream country musi c, Bluegrass is traditionally played on stringed instruments. This acoustic music fest will be at Peghorn Nature Park, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Musicians, bring your own instruments. The session’s free and spectators are welcome.
Don’t curb your Christmas tree – SWAP it! If you still have that real tree, bring it to the St. Cloud Civic Center (3101 17th St.) on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and swap it out for a new tree to plant at home. If you do not have an old Christmas tree, you can still stop by to get a free tree. To trade out your Christmas tree, it must be free of decorations. St. Cloud Main Street’s Breakfast with the Pros will be held on Jan. 11 at 8 a.m. at Loading Gastrobrunch (1023 New York Ave.) County Commissioner Rickie Booth will provide an update on future growth in his District including transportation, infrastructure, branding and more. This is a great opportunity to learn what is in store in St. Cloud in 2022. This is a free event. Space is limited. The City of St. Cloud, Parks and Recreation Department presents Holiday Gala on Jan. 15 from 5-9 p.m. at The Ranch at St. Cloud (5452 Jones Rd.) It’s back! The 15th Annual Redneck Gala will be held on Jan. 29 from 5-10 p.m., at The Ranch at St. Cloud. This fun filled evening will include live entertainment featuring Justin Lee Partin. Play Redneck Games, enjoy beer and wine and a steak dinner with all the fixin’s provided by the Osceola County Cattleman’s Association. There will also be a silent auction with great items to bid on.
The Redneck Gala is a fundraiser to help support the efforts of the St. Cloud Main Street program in their mission for economic development and historic preservation in historic downtown St. Cloud. Corporate tables, which seat 8, are available and include extra take home goodies for $600. Individual Early Bird Tickets purchased before Jan. 14 are $60 per person. Tickets purchased between Jan. 15-27 are $75.
