Osceola Magic defeat Mexico City for home split heading into Showcase

By Bob Pincus For the News-Gazette Mac McClung and his Osceola Magic teammates wanted the chance to participate in the G-League Showcase Cup next week in Orlando. They did their part by beating the Mexico City Capitanes, 130-108, Saturday night at Silver Spurs Arena.

North Kissimmee Christian looks like an FCC contender again with 93-64 win over Heritage

Kissimmee is home to two member teams of the Florida Christian Conference, a collection of private, faith-based schools around the state. Over recent history, Heritage Christian and North Kissimmee Christian have had a say in who wins the conference title, if not won it.

Kissimmee swimmer Momo Sutton overcomes to compete nationally

Kissimmee swimmer Momo Sutton will be competing on an international stage this weekend—but is lucky enough to sleep in her own bed doing it. Sutton, 16, will be swimming the 100 meter freestyle at the U.S. Paralympics National Championships in Orlando at the Rosen Aquatic Center starting Friday.

OBC girls soccer title goes back to Longhorns

Historically, Harmony has all but owned the Orange Belt Conference girls’ soccer championship and that trend continued Friday as the Longhorns won, 3-2, over Celebration at Liberty High School.

WRESTLING PREVIEW — Osceola, Harmony battle for County supremacy

In what should come as no surprise to anyone who follows the sport, state powers Osceola and Harmony will once again battle for county supremacy in wrestling for the 202324 season.

Despite furious comeback, Osceola Magic drop first home game Tuesday, 116-112.

Even Stuff couldn't help the Osceola Magic Tuesday. Stuff, the mascot for the Magic, was at the Silver Spurs Arena hanging with Swish, the NBA G League development league team's mascot, but it wasn't enough as Osceola lost its first home game of the season, 116-112 to the Texas Legends.
