Poinciana News — Early Birding at Disney Wilderness Preserve

Disney Wilderness Preserve (2700 Scrub Jay Trail in Poinciana) opens early several times a year allowing visitors to hike or observe wild life that are more visible in the early morning hours.

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) is looking for vendors to participate in this year’s Fireworks Spectacular. The Fireworks Spectacular will be on Saturday, June 24 at Vance Harmon Park Amphitheater (625 Country Club Dr.) This is one of APV’s biggest and best event of the year.

Spoken Spirit, a series of abstract acrylic and pastel paintings by Orlando artist Tana Rey, is on display at the Poinciana Library through June 30. These eight recently painted pieces represent a big shift in Rey’s painting approach, the crux of which is paint with optimism instead of pessimism.
