Crews contracted with Toho Water Authority will be flushing water lines in targeted areas of the City of St. Cloud Nov. 4-8.The map attached shows the area — neighborhoods on the east side of Michigan Avenue between Nolte Road and Royal St.

Toho Water Authority is again flushing water lines for quality and clarity on the east side of town after Hurricane Milton threatened to do the work on its own.The work, starting Monday, will be in an area along Hickory Tree Road just south of Nolte Road.

This week's Toho Water Authority line flushing operations will be in an area roughly bordered by Nolte Road, Royal St. Cloud Golf Links, Canoe Creek Road and Michigan Avenue. Customers are likely to experience a temporary drop in water pressure and discolored water.

Toho Water receives EPA loan to expand treatment facilities

Toho Water Authority has been named the recipient of a $188.3 low-interest Environmental Protection Agency loan, which it will use to modernize water infrastructure in Polk and Osceola counties to help ensure a water supply it calls “resilient” to over 450,000 utility residents.
