Darion Graham recorded 16 kills, two blocks and a couple of aces to lead the Celebration Storm to a 25-16, 25-17 and 25-20 straight set win over Tohopekaliga in the finals of the 2023 Orange Belt Conference boys’ volleyball tournament Thursday.

Harmony High remains the top track program in Osceola County, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams won Orange Belt Conference team titles for the third year in a row on Wednesday at St. Cloud.

Despite not winning any Orange Belt Conference team titles during the winter season, when basketball, soccer, wrestling and girls weightlifting and competitive cheer were in season, Harmony High School opened up a lead entering into the spring for Osceola County’s All-Sports competition.

Big inning propels Harmony baseball to season sweep over Kowboys

Harmony sent 15 men to the plate in the fourth inning and scored nine runs Friday, and held on to earn a 12-9 road win over Osceola. The win gave the Longhorns (9-9) a three-game regular season sweep over the Kowboys.

Heading into Friday night’s Orange Belt Conference championship baseball game, Harmony coach Heath Williams said his team would have to play its best game of the year if his Longhorns were to have a chance to end Osceola’s dominant run of three consecutive crowns.

A number of county track teams competed aside some of the top talent in Central Florida at the weekend’s the Tohopekaliga Tigers Invitational. The event featured competitors from 45 high schools throughout Central Florida, and Harmony’s girls team placed an impressive fourth place.
