Knockout Classic returns to Silver Spurs this weekend

One of the nation’s premiere holiday wrestling tournaments returns to Silver Spurs Arena this weekend as Osceola High hosts the 12th edition of the Knockout Classic. Action begins at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday and tickets are $20 per day.

In the Class 6A state championship football game Friday, the Osceola Kowboys play really good West Boca Raton.They weren’t just taking on the Bulls – and their really loud band. (Yo FHSAA: you preach sportsmanship all through the game, then you let the band play during the play of the game.

It's not often a coach will see his team give up almost 400 passing yards and five touchdowns and then want to talk about how well his defense played. But that was exactly what happened in Gainesville on Friday night, as Osceola edged Buchholz, 41-35 in it Class 6A semifinal game.
