Letter to the Editor — Thankful for our Republican candidates

Thankful for our Republican candidates

Dear Editor:

We did a great job in Osceola County getting DeSantis, Rubio, Paula Stark and Carolina Amesty elected. We worked so tireless for all our candidates, I need not mention every one of them, but why didn’t they make it? My conclusion is that we didn’t have enough of us working. And that needs to change! If we do not work together as one unit, I do not care what your ethnic or political background is, we will never win in Osceola County. We need our mindset to change, we are Americans first, and the person we need to vote for must have our values our core beliefs. We have two years to get our act together — it began Nov. 9.

That was my rant. This is my rave. Thank you so much to all our candidates. In my eyes, you were all winners. To have put yourselves and your families out there and work as hard as you did took so much sacrifice and courage. Please do not be discouraged, I know in my heart your time will come. Each and every one of you was a blessing to our Party and to our community. You need to continue to come to the OCREC meetings, and together we will work at moving forward. You all will be very helpful implementing our next move.

Thanksgiving is upon us, we have much to be thankful for: for seniors who have much knowledge to pass on, and for the young who we need to teach judgment and tolerance. To all mothers who are the nurturers of our children, and to fathers striving to be great examples to their children. We are thankful for the freedom we experience every day, for all people concerned and working for the betterment of our community, thankful for our families, friends, neighbors, pastors, all clergymen and women. And most of all, thankful to God. Without God and faith nothing good is possible.

I pray for all, that nothing clouds your good judgment, and may nothing hinder our progress. Amen.

Vice Chair, Osceola County Republican Executive Committee
