Osceola “Living History Days” begin Saturday

Starting Saturday, Osceola History will once again present the popular “Living History Days” on the second Saturday of each month through May. Visitors are welcome to stroll through the historic Pioneer Village at 2491 Babb Road in Kissimmee and meet residents of the community.

Learn about life in the 1890’s while enjoying a safe, socially distanced visit to the past. Check out the animals, the gift shop and participate in a scavenger hunt.

As a special on the second Saturdays, two youth (under 14) may enter free with a paid adult (adult tickets are $8). Tickets may be purchased at the door or on online at www.osceolahistory.org.

Osceola History was established to collect and preserve the history of Osceola County, starting in 1949. Since that time, the society has amassed a collection of thousands of artifacts, photos, newspapers and more on file with research available via the website at www.osceolahistory.org. Additionally, the history has been shared via educational and recreational opportunities at the Pioneer Village and Welcome Center & History Museum for teachers and students, as well as the general public at both museums open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On days other than second Saturdays, admission at the Pioneer Village is $8 for adults and $4 for youth. Admission at the Welcome Center & History Museum is free.
