Hope you packed your Long Johns, boys.
As Winter Storm Jasper hits the Mid-Atlantic right on the heels of Winter Storm Izzy, two line crews from Kissimmee Utility Authority headed out to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Thursday morning to provide mutual aid to area utility company Santee Cooper.
As part of KUA’s mutual aid agreement with utilities across the state, KUA sent nine linemen and a convoy of vehicles and supplies to assist with the restoration of power, much like they've done in the wake of hurricanes in years past.
Those who are traveling from KUA include David Wolfe, Kevon McKinsey, Lars Akkerman, Karl Glass, Chase Fuller, Nathan Gault, Brendan Laflamme, Aaron Hale and Dustin Kelley.
