The Kissimmee Police Department (KPD) is partnering with Kissimmee Main Street to host a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site at KPD headquarters on Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m.
Individuals needing a COVID-19 test can drive through the parking lot at the Kissimmee Police Department located at 8 N. Stewart Avenue, Kissimmee through 12:30 p.m., or until available tests are exhausted. A driver's license or ID will be required to receive a test. Individuals don’t have to get out of the vehicle.
Cars should use the Orlando Avenue parking lot entrance; if there's a line it will extend onto Mabbette Street. According to the city, vehicle staging will extend to West Sumner Street if the line gets too long.
A representative from the pop-up clinic will walk patients through the rapid self-swab test. Results will be available within 48 hours.
