It will be a Beautiful Night! The first Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) celebration of 2022 will be the Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala on Saturday, Jan. 22. Doors open at 6 p.m. and festivities will start at 7. More than 200 APV homeowners and community members are expected to attend to honor homeowners who have taken extraordinary steps to landscape and maintain their homes. This black-tie event and award ceremony will be held at the Poinciana Community Center (445 Marigold Ave.) The Gala will feature a live band, guest speakers, door prizes all evening, past hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and more.
Awards will be presented to the winners of the 2021 Homes of the Year, who will be awarded a yearlong family membership to the APV community pool, a sign placed in the yard for a year and a prize package from this event’s various sponsors. Will you have an incoming middle or high schooler this August? The Osceola County School District will host its incoming Sixth Grade School Orientation Night on Jan. 24 from 6-7:30 p.m. This is for every middle school in the Osceola County School District.
Students who will move onto sixth grade next year, along with their parents, are invited to attend this orientation night. They will have the opportunity to meet the principal, see what classes will be offered, make their way around the campus and to learn more about the extra-curriculum sports and club offerings.
Incoming Ninth Grade Student Curriculum Night will be on Jan. 31 from 6-7:30 p.m. Incoming freshmen, along with their parents, will also have the opportunity to meet their new principal, see what classes will be offered, make their way around the campus and to learn more about the extra-curriculum sports and club offerings.
These Curriculum Nights is an opportunity for parents to get involved in the next step of their child’s education. Parents with Curriculum Night questions, should contact their child’s individual school.
