St. Cloud in the holiday swing!

The City of St. Cloud’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in front of City Hall. The event will feature singing, crafts, pictures with Santa and “Elf driving school.” Don’t miss the city’s kick-off to the holiday season.

The St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Cloud present the 2021 Christmas Parade on Saturday at 10 a.m. This year’s theme is “Christmas in the Cloud.” This year’s parade will continue the route change made in 2020 – instead of winding past City Hall, the parade will proceed south on Pennsylvania Ave. to 12th Street, west to Massachusetts Street and north to Lakefront Avenue.

Following the parade, stroll and enjoy the 43rd Annual St. Cloud Holiday Festival, Saturday and Sunday in downtown St. Cloud from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This holiday tradition features over 120 crafters, carnival food, Doodle-Bug Chalk Art, classic cars, children’s craft area and more in a fun atmosphere.

AMVETS Chapter 33’s Second Annual Toys for Tots Toy Run will be Sunday at 10 a.m. This is a public event by Marine Corps League St. Cloud Detachment 1092 and AMVETS Riders Chapter 33. Registration is at the Drunken Parrot Saloon (3447 13th St.) with stops at the AMVETS Post 33, (4310 Deer Run Rd.), VFW Post 3227 (915 New York Ave.), DAV Chapter 148, (21 E. Keen St., Kissimmee) and ending at American Legion Post 10 Veterans Lawn at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. Cost is a new unwrapped toy and $10 per person.

The inaugural Cookies with Santa event at Moonlight Dance Studio (2001 13th St.), will be Dec. 10 from 5-8 p.m. This is a ticketed event. For more information call the studio at 407-873-4898.
