The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Saturday night near the Isles of Bellalago, and is asking for the public's help in the investigation.
The incident left a male 28-year-old Kissimmee motorcyclist, who was traveling northbound on Poinciana Boulevard, dead, according to the FHP report. At 11:50 p.m. a pickup truck attempting to turn left out of Isles of Bellalago Drive onto southbound Poinciana Boulevard turned into the path of the motorcycle. After they collided, the motorcyclist was ejected onto the road, and run over by a third vehicle, headed northbound on Poinciana, which continued on without stopping.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.
