Poinciana’s home Halloween display is scary-big!

Have you checked out the Halloween Display at 922 Dartmouth Court, off of north Marigold Avenue? If not, you have the whole month of October to check out this boo-tiful showcase of light synchronized to music.

Viewers of the Halloween display can safely watch the show from the comfort of their vehicles. The show runs seven days a week from 7:40-10 p.m. weekdays and until 10:30 p.m. on weekends until Oct. 31. The show is approximately 30 minutes long and continues to cycle. Fog, fire and additional strobe lights can be seen on weekends. The Halloween show is child friendly and will have candy on Halloween night. Donations are optional.

Rob Gallo, a two-year Poinciana resident, began this display last year. When asked why he purchased a home in Poinciana, he said, “Honestly, it seemed like a decent area to buy my first house where I can get more for my dollar. We ended up in a quiet area and the neighbors are great.”

Gallo does audio/ visual work for a living. He was always interested in designing light shows.

“At a young age I bought a computerized lighting system and learned to program. Ten years later, I have my own house, where I do my Halloween and Christmas shows. Each show takes two to three weeks of setup and consists of 1,000 of lights, flood lights, pixels and other cool elements,” he said.

People can tune their car radio to 99.7 FM to hear the synchronized music.

Enjoy this kickoff to Halloween – Make sure to come back for the Christmas display!
