St. Cloud Main Street will present two guided walking tours – both historical but one a little spooky. St. Cloud Main Street’s Historic Walking Tours is on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 903 Pennsylvania Ave.
This guided walking tour takes you back in time to the early days of St. Cloud’s beginnings. Discover a history rich in development and learn about a devastating fire that ruined part of the downtown area. See some of the newer additions like St. Cloud’s City Bird and Flower. Walking through St. Cloud’s past will give you an insight into the current downtown area as well. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ st-cloud-walking-tourtickets-168144858799.
Later that evening, explore haunted history with the first-ever St. Cloud Ghost at 8 p.m. Meet the ghosts walking around historic St. Cloud. This tour features multiple stops where you will learn about the ghosts haunting the buildings in addition to the building’s history. Tickets are $20 and are available at https://www. eventbrite.com/e/st-cloudwalking-ghost-tourtickets-168145047363. Take a tour and walk back in time for a scary good time.
Downtown St. Cloud Monthly Market hosted by Southern Roots Antiques will also be on Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy an evening in Historic Downtown St. Cloud with over 100 local pop-up vendors. Shop boutiques and enjoy the restaurants and pubs. Sip and shop and support local! The Downtown St. Cloud Monthly Market is held the last Wednesday of every month.
