Osceola County has added to the number of COIVD-19 testing and vaccine sites offered. Next week there will be four sites for each. No appointments are needed for these locations, however patients may pre-register their information beginning Wednesday at http://testing.nomihealth.com/signup/fl.
Testing sites:
Wednesdays starting Sept. 1: Poinciana Library (101 N. Doverplum Avenue, Kissimmee), 12-7 p.m., 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Sept. 8;
Friday: 65th Infantry Park (301 Buenaventura Boulevard, Buenaventura Lakes), 12-7 p.m. Open daily. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Sept. 4;
Mondays starting Sept. 6: t. Cloud Library (810 13th Street, St. Cloud) , 12-7 p.m. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Sept. 13;
Tuesdays starting Sept. 7: West Osceola Library (305 Campus Street, Celebration), 12-7 p.m. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting Sept. 14;
Tests are available for individuals 1 year or older. Turnaround times for antigen tests are 20-40 minutes. PCR test results are shared with the patient via email within 48 hours. If a patient tests positive on their antigen test, medical staff will conduct a PCR test as a follow up.
Through vendor Curative, continues to be available daily at Osceola Heritage Park. The appointment-only, walk-up community site is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to provide free PCR testing. To make an appointment, visit https://curative.com/sites/31240.
Vaccine sites: The School District of Osceola County has partnered with Prescriptions Unlimited to offer four vaccination clinics at its high school for those 12 years or older who are looking to get the vaccine for the first time. Tuesday, August 31 - Celebration High School, 4-8 p.m. Return for your second dose Sept. 21;
Wednesday, September 1 - St. Cloud High School, 4-8 p.m. Return for your second dose on Sept. 22;
Thursday, September 2 - Liberty High School, 4-8 p.m. Return for your second dose on Sept. 23;
Wednesday, September 8 - Gateway High School, 4-8 p.m. Return for your second dose on Sept. 29
