Registration is now open for two popular Poinciana sports leagues. Spaces are filling up fast – register now!

The fall season of Junior Magic Basketball runs from September 11 to October 30. Practices and games will be held at the gym of the Poinciana Christian Preparatory School, 4924 Old Pleasant Hill Road. Junior Magic is for youth ages 6 to 17. Registration fee, before July 10, is $125 (after July 10, a $25 late fee will be applied). The fee includes practices and games, a new customized JR Magic jersey and a free ticket to an Orlando Magic game.

The Poinciana Predators youth football and cheerleading are back! Registration is now open and officials will be at Vance Harmon Park, Tuesday thru Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m.

Flag football is for ages 4 to 6, the fee is $60. Ages 7 to 15, tackle football is $125. Cheerleading is for ages 4 to 15 and the fee is $200. For more information, contact Al Bates at 407-467-6331 or Crystal Warp at 407-618-9386.

Hey Adults, get messy! The Poinciana Library, 101 N. Doverplum Avenue, has an adult program entitled Messy Media. Messy Media will be held on select Tuesdays in June at 2 p.m. Create unique abstract works of art and have fun doing it.

• June 8 is Acrylic Pouring. Recommended supplies: acrylic paint in various colors, 8 x 10 canvas, liquid soap and plastic cups.

• On June 15, Paint Splatter Art. Supplies needed are canvas, various colors of paint, a toothbrush and paint brushes.

• On June 22, swing into Pendulum and Painting, Supplies needed: acrylic paint, glue, yarn, hole puncher, tape and tripod or other make shift pendulum.

• Bingo for Books will be on Friday, June 11 at 10 p.m. Try your luck and win Bingo book prizes.

• All Library programs are free and open to the public.
