The Midwife Bus is coming to Poinciana. The Midwife Bus provides complete maternity care including prenatal and post-partum office visits, lab work and ultrasound. The bus offers a small meeting place as opposed to a crowded doctor’s office.

No one is denied services on the Midwife Bus regardless of their health history or insurance status. Sliding cash pay scales and payment plans are available for uninsured and under insured women. If you qualify for Medicaid and need help signing up, they will assist you also.

The Midwife Bus works alongside Beyond Pregnancy and Care, a Kissimmee based nonprofit, that provides free pregnancy tests, pregnancy and parenting classes for Moms and Dads.

The Midwife Bus will be coming to the Mary Jane Arrington parking lot, 625 Country Club Drive, on Wednesday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information contact the Midwife Bus at 407-750-8189.

OneBlood returns to Poinciana Medical Center, 325 Cypress Parkway, on Thursday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments are encouraged.
