Historic dinner and a documentary in St. Cloud

Over the past year, St. Cloud Main Street added two historic state markers, one national historic marker, and a historic mural to the downtown area.

Due to the global pandemic, Main Street was unable to unveil the new additions through public ceremonies. It is are now working with Maverix Design and Creator T Productions to create a documentary of the new additions so that Main Street can share them with St. Cloud and beyond.
The documentary takes the viewer to Mt. Peace Cemetery, Fisk Funeral Home, Veterans Memorial Library and the Coble’s Garage mural on Handyman Hardware’s building so that they can learn about the location, how it contributed to the city’s history and then each marker will be unveiled. This documentary will be narrated by St. Cloud Mayor Nathan Blackwell, and the of St. Cloud Main Street  Executive Director Paula Stark. Guest appearances will include Bill Fisk, son of Bob Fisk, the ladies of the St. Cloud Women’s Club the gentlemen from the Lucius Mitchell Camp, and more.
The premier of the documentary will be April 19 at the St. Cloud Twin movie theater through a ticketed event that includes dinner at Phyre Brewery and Tavern Speakeasy. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 20, on Eventbrite.
