The Osceola Clerk of the Court Comptroller will open a new satellite office on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at 4547 Pleasant Hill Road in Poinciana from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The new office exists for a simple reason: people have lives to live, and government services should fit into them instead of the other way around. The office will make court services more convenient for residents by offering the ability to pay traffic and criminal fines and submit traffic-related documents. More services are expected to be offered in the future.
To celebrate the grand opening—and with the new school year just around the corner—the Clerk's Office will give children who visit a free backpack filled with quality school supplies. The giveaway is limited to one backpack per child, and only while supplies last.
An office opening rarely makes headlines. But for families who no longer have to drive across the county for routine business, or for a child who starts school with a new backpack, small things can matter quite a bit.
As Poinciana continues to grow, a new office like this may reflect the Clerk's commitment to making government services more accessible while also giving local families a few less things to worry about before the first school bell rings.

Hopkins Heroes and the City of St. Cloud Back 2 School Bash will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center, 3101 17th St., St. Cloud. Families are invited to a fun-filled day featuring free backpacks and school supplies, a uniform swap, community resources, and family-friendly activities. The event, organized by Hopkins Heroes in partnership with the City of St. Cloud, is free.
Connect Church of St. Cloud Back to School Bash will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at 1215 Old Hickory Tree Road, St. Cloud. The event features free backpacks and supplies, free haircuts, bounce houses and games, music, food, and giveaways. The event is open to students in grades K-12; students must be present to receive backpacks on a first-come, first-served basis while quantities last. The event, organized by Connect Church of St. Cloud, is free.
