The 2026 Poinciana Scholarship Reception will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m. at the Poinciana High School Osceola Business Academy. This year, the Poinciana Council will award scholarships of up to $1,500 to graduating High School Seniors and students currently enrolled in a Technical Education Program, 2- or 4-year degree program or a Masters Program at post-secondary educational institution.

Homeschool Coding Club for children ages 6-11 meets on Thursday, April 2 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Poinciana Library. Discover the basics of computing programs. Use beginner friendly tools to practice logical thinking, creativity and digital skills while creating games, animation and interactive projects. Laptops are needed—limited laptops may be available to share.
R.I.S.E. Up Osceola: READ Bus will be at the Poinciana Library on Monday, April 6. This Osceola School District’s Special Programs Department is bringing their READ Bus, a renovated yellow school bus with an interior that resembles a mini pre-K classroom will be onsite. The age group is children ages 3 to 4. There will be 2 times for this event—9:15 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Rhythm, Rhyme & Storytime takes place on Tuesday, April 7 from 10:3011 a.m. This program is for children ages 2 to 5. Parents can sing, sway and swing through this program dedicated to music and movement. This story-time is in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Baby and Me takes place on Tuesday, April 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Hug your little ones while sharing this special first-time experience. This is for children from birth to 18 months. This program introduces books with playtime and repetitive music.
Flex Your Fingers: Fine Motor Skills Workshop is for up to age 5 and takes place on Wednesday, April 8 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Participate in pre-planned activities that encourage the development of fine motor skills, listening skills, early reading skills, socialization and creativity through stories, games and activities.
Bee-come a citizen scientist! School aged children ages 6-11 can learn how to Bee Kind to Pollinators on Wednesday. April 8 from 4:305:30 p.m. This program is in recognition of Citizen Science Month. Design a bee watering station and learn simple fun ways to be kind to pollinators.

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is offering an online class—Ortho Pre-Surgery. If you are having orthopedic surgery, the nursing team and physical therapist at the hospital will prepare you and your support person for your surgery and recovery process. Osceola Arts Summer Camp 2026 registration is officially open. The camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for ages 7-14 at sites like the Valencia College Poinciana campus. Each session of camp is $225 and concludes with a showcase on Friday at 3 p.m. where families can celebrate what campers have created. Every session has a different theme.
Dreamworks Art Studio brings your favorite animated worlds to life through art. Campers will experiment with drawing, painting and mixed media projects inspired by the magic of story-telling and character designs runs June 8-12.
Camp Half Blood (Percy Jackson-inspired) campers will act, sing and move through epic quests and mythical challenges and runs June 15-26. Roald Dahi Musical celebrates the imaginative world of Roald Dahl. Campers will bring these timeless stories to life through acting, movement and song and runs July 13-24.
