Summer Camp registrations open April 6. These camps running June 2-July 24 Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. offer a fun-filled summer with field trips, weekly Aquatic Center admission, extended care, plus breakfast and lunch included.

Spots fill quickly—register early for a summer full of fun and adventure!
Teens entering grades 9–12 are invited to join the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program this summer, a great opportunity to build leadership skills, gain hands-on experience, assist at Camp Discovery, make new friends, and earn community service hours. The program includes a mandatory training and parent meeting on May 13 at 5:30 p.m. at Oak Street Park Community Center (717 N. Palm Ave.) Teens who complete seven out of eight weeks may be eligible for a refund of the $25 program fee. Applications are open through April 10 and require two references and an interview, which will take place April 20–23. Space is limited. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled evening at Parks & Recreation Family Fun Night – Bingo! This monthly event features a different activity each month for families and friends to enjoy together. Join us on Friday, April 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center (2204 Denn John Lane) for a free night of bingo and family-friendly fun. Join the City of Kissimmee for Group Swim Lessons for ages 6 months and up. These 30-minute group sessions provide a fun and supportive environment for participants to learn and improve their swimming skills. Registration will take place in person on April 11 from 9–11 a.m. at the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center. Session 1 runs April 27 through May 7, and Session 2 runs May 11 through May 21, with classes held Monday through Thursday between 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. The cost is $60 per session.
