The first day of Spring is Friday, March 20, with Easter soon to follow on Sunday, April 5. That means Spring Festivals and Egg Hunts abound!
The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) will hold the 2026 Spring Fest & Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28 at 12 p.m. at the Poinciana Activity Campus (445 Marigold Ave.) This free family event features an Easter Egg Hunt, inflatables, a DJ, food trucks and a variety of local vendors and crafters. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance and will pose for photos.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory School North (2525 Trafalgar Blvd.) will hold it’s 4th Annual Spring Festival on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free community event features an Egg Hunt, prizes, food trucks, vendors and a live DJ.
The First Annual Hoppin’ With Ridge Heroes, an Easter celebration at the new Polk County Sheriff’s Office Substation in Poinciana (9530 Marigold Ave.) takes place on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt, scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, face painting, cookie decorating and food trucks. Polk County Animal Control will also be there with cats and dogs ready for adoption.
The Osceola Friends of the Library will host a book sale at the Poinciana Library on Thursday, Mar. 12, from 12-5 p.m., Friday, Mar. 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Mar.
14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a great opportunity to support your reading habits while helping programs sponsored by The Friends of the Library. A grocery bag full of books is $5, children’s books are $.25, paperback books are $.50 and hard covered books are $1.
Applications are now available for the 2026 Poinciana Council Scholarship. This year, the Poinciana Council, which operates under the umbrella of the Osceola Chamber, will award scholarships of up to $1,500 to graduating high school Seniors and students currently enrolled is a Technical Education Program, 2 or 4-year degree program or a Masters Program at post-secondary educational institution. All applicants must reside in zip codes 34746, 34758 or 34759.
All winners will be honored at a luncheon at Poinciana High School in April. Applications are due by Sunday, Mar. 22.
