The public meeting is being held to present information and receive community feedback.
A virtual meeting will also be held on Tuesday, March 5. Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. For this option, advance registration is required by visiting https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6537045680456430939. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online.

Registered voter? Check for a notice in the mail
The Osceola County Supervisor of Elections office wants to alert county voters that a notice has been mailed out to all active voters in Osceola County, and should arrive next week.
That notice will contain information like current party affiliation, 2026 election primary and general election dates and their Early Voting dates, how to make a Vote by Mail request, and other information about Florida’s closed primary system, voter signatures, and sample ballots.
This election notice mailer will give voters the basic information they need ahead of the 2026 election season and aid the Supervisor of Elections Office in keeping the voter roll up to date.
If you receive a mailer at your house addressed to someone who does not live there, return the envelope to the mail with ‘Return to Sender’ and allow the Postal Service to return the mail to the Elections Office.

Orlando Health ER heart attack patient reunites with care team
Thanks to quick work by the response care team at Orlando Health Emergency Room— Osceola, a local patient was able to later reunite with that team that saved his life when he experienced a severe heart attack. César Díaz Lira, 58, went to the standalone ER location on Osceola Parkway with symptoms of chest pain and fatigue. An electrocardiogram was immediately performed and showed a ST-elevated myocardial infarction (STEMI)—a complete blockage of a coronary artery. The Emergency Room team stabilized Díaz Lira as he was prepared for transfer by Air Care to Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.
“We have all the tools that any ER would have. We coordinate with our transfer center for transport to get to other sites within the Orlando Health system,” said Brian Head, MD, medical director of Orlando Health Emergency Room— Osceola. “Within 30 minutes of Cesar arriving, the helicopter was on the way.”
Facility officials said the quick response and collaboration in this case enabled Díaz Lira to eventually undergo an angioplasty that opened the blocked artery and restored blood flow in less than the industry standard of 90 minutes—the industry standard—from when he arrived at the emergency room.
“Orlando Health treated me like I was family,” Díaz Lira said during his return earlier this month to Orlando Health Emergency Room—Osceola, where he hugged team members and offered prayers of gratitude.
